Not sure if anyone has posted the new dinner menu at Cinderella's Royal Table. If not, here it is:

Thanks for posting. We'll be dining there on 12/8.

I was there last Wednesday and the menu I posted was the one that is being used now. I was told that the new menu has been in place a while now and that it took the Chef nine months to get the changes approved. I was very disappointed in the new menu and was very upset not to try the buckle... Okay, yes I am a dessert gal!!:lmao:
From what I remember reading, the buckle wasn't very good - too dry. However, consensus seemed to be that the creme brulee was excellent.

Can I ask what you tried (and how you liked it)? There was another thread about the new menu, and the dessert trio got some positive reviews while the flan didn't. I didn't see any comments about the mousse.

DH and I both had the Royal cheese tasting - good, but not excellent with the pairing to the cheeses. It contained a Diamond Cheddar Cheese, a brie, and a goat cheese. Both of the kids had the salad, one with the vinaigrette the other with ranch dressing.

DH, DS, and I each had the Roasted Beef tenderloin. The waitress claimed that is was replaced because it was a better cut of meat, but honestly, I would prefer a Prime Rib anyday. The tomato hollandaise sauce was "unique" and the potatoes it came with were horrible. The waitress agreed and substituted mashed for two of us, DS wanted to try them.(They were dry and contained an over amount of nutmeg). I had squash instead of asparagus, but both veggies were good.

DD had the Fried Chicken which was a huge serving. The chicken itself was very good and tender, the mac/cheese was inedible. She doesn't do veggies... so I can't comment on that.

For dessert, both kids opted out for vanilla ice cream. I originally ordered the Creme Caramel but the waitress totally talked me out of it, she said that is the most returned item on the menu. I replaced it with the Chef's dessert Trio. It was so not memorable, that I am hoping I took a picture or DH remembers what is was. I will post later on it. Sorry I couldn't help too much on the desserts, I am sure someone will remember.

I think you just summed it up very well.

I'm glad to hear that the the beef was disappointing. Well, not glad for you, but glad that now I know. I'm leaning towards the cobia, as photos of the duck indicate mediocre presentation. I do hope you have some photos of the fried chicken, as it sounds intriguing that they could set up a preparation that would merit competition with the other offerings on the menu.

I am glad to hear that they are being so flexible with people returning disappointing dishes on the new menu. I'm generally loathe to send back something that is not badly prepared, but with so many reported chinks in the CRT menu's armor, my confidence level in the kitchen is not very high.

has anyone enjoyed the new menu? Now I am worried and thinking about canceling mine as well. We have done it before two years ago, and I just remember it being good and the experience was worth it. But with everything I have read in the last two days, seems like everyone is canceling.

We have a dinner booked before MVMCP. I'm seriously considering cancelling with all the bad reviews I'm reading. The only reason I booked it was because my girls are doing BBB that day as well. We did CRT for lunch last year - 1st time. Eating in the castle was pure excitement for my girls, but the food was just o.k.. My husband said once was enough, but I convinced him to go this year since the girls will be decked out after BBB. Now the prime rib is gone... he will not be happy ...what to do????

What!!!!!! No more chocolate Buckle!!!! That was one of the reasons I booked it again. I could live on that. It was the best thing I have EVER tasted. My DH and I couldn't stop talking about it. I have search high and low for a recipe and have yet to find one. I am sooooooooo disappointed.
The new menu looks blah. I'm a prime rib girl too.
I might try the beef, but I will ask for mash potatoes since it sounds like what comes with it is not too good.

Does anyone have pictures?

We didn't feel the old menu was worth 2 credits, so this new menu just doesn't cut it. Although we had a great dinner there in March when the Princesses had just been added to dinner, we still felt with our TIW that it was overpriced. We did have prime rib, and wonderful service, but still expensive.

So overpriced and underwhelming...Tiger

has anyone gone there recently or with the menu changed if the Pasta for kids are offered (with marina sauce?)...please tell me yes b/c that was the only thing my son would eat at of all the selection.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE BUCKLE!! Also, the pork tenderloin at lunch. I really missed them when we ate there last week.

what is on the lunch menu? Is it the same with the major dormo item?

I ate there for dinner 9/30 - there was no fried chicken - it was a deep fried cornish game hen and there was no duck on the menu either

I tried the tenderloin - was not worth 2 credits - I got 4 slices on my plate - at 1 & 1/2 - left the rest

DH got pork chop - was really overcooked, dry and tough.

the "dessert brulee" was basically flan - I ate 2 bites

I did however eat off of the beef/barley soup (soup of the day) -

Overall the menu is not worth 2 credits IMO

we won't be back for a long while -

Oh great. We're supposed to have dinner there next Thursday before MNSSHP, and now I'm not sure. I have to see if there is anything else available.

For what they charge, I can't believe they removed the prime rib :furious: I had that our last two times and it was great  This new menu has absolutely no appeal to me at all  I won't be booking it with those changes
