don't know if this has already been posted, but the new Courtyard Marriott that is being built near Disneyland (opening August 2015) is apparently taking reservations, at least online. Seems like they are booking fast..my DH made one this morning for Thanksgiving week and it said he got one of the last ones left!! We got a Deluxe Suite with King bed and a bunk bed, with Fireworks view and it was $259/night.

Anyway just FYI in case anyone else is interested. I thought I read somewhere earlier that they wouldn't start taking reservations May 15th, but I guess they must have opened it up early. So excited! that waterpark area looks pretty awesome.

it's not showing that it's taking reservations yet on Marriott.com - are you sure u didn't see the existing courtyard instead? unless my account isn't allowing me to see the new hotel

Thanks for posting this - we snagged a fireworks view for our first few days!

I had to refresh the main hotel webpage a few times before the reservations button showed up.

yep, definitely is the new one..i know bc my DH initially mistakenly made reservations at the existing courtyard (he figured it out hwen the price turned out too good to be true!).

I agree with another poster, i think you have to just keep refreshing. DH tried to see if he could make reservation just now and it was not showing up.

Could someone please provide a link, I can't find anything?

ETA: I guess I found it, but when I click "reservations" nothing happens:/

I'm guessing the site is still a bit wonky if they just went live - they haven't posted anything about taking reservations on their FB page yet.

Maybe they were just testing it and will make it more available later.

I finally found it. It's not under reservations. It's under "check for availability" or something like that. I found it as a fluke while clicking around. I was able to book a room with a fireworks view for October 3-4 for $289 per night.

Thats good news. would be nice to stay in a new hotel for our December trip. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn last year and liked the location.

Not all of the December dates show as available to book... but there are January dates. It looks like the calendar is only partially live.

The only way I was able to search for rooms was after saving the hotel to my account and then find and reserve the saved hotel. Doesn't seem like any august dates are available, soonest seems late september to me. I wonder if they are already booked, or just not put up yet, or not opening on time. Price wise, 2 queens + bunkbeds for under $300 accomodating 6 is not bad. Too bad bunkbeds are in every room if you don't want them. No discounts like AAA or military seem to be active yet either.

Their FB page indicated that they wouldn't open up August dates for a little bit longer - I guess to give them some wiggle room in case they have to push back opening again.

I just booked 5 nights from 4 October. I went to their hotel website, went to find & reserve then into hotel details- there are room rates in black and doesn't look like you can book but if you click on it takes you through to the room rates for your dates and you can book. An FYI the suites were flagged as almost sold out.

I the top right corner on the hotel details page after you have gone through find and reserve and put in dates etc. - click on rate

Yep, DH said the same (for week of T-giving), so we snagged one while we could. We were going back and forth between this and DLH but this just seems like too good deal to pass up, especially given the location and it is brand-new! I just saw on the Marriott website..all bathrooms have 2 sinks, and 2 separate showers?? And the suites are 900 square feet? WOW.
