I retired in 2014, health issues, but I only worked part time, DH retired in 2013.

Well, that is not 6 days until retirement, it is 6 days until I am out of here for a week.

Life gets in the way. DH did not want to retire, but he also knew he needed to set a date, otherwise he would work his whole life!

One friend didn’t get the message, she’s on her way to the airport for the 4 PM flight, BUT it’s not leaving until nearly 8. We did text her multiple times.
