New Confirmation Email Clears Up Room Title Issue

Here is the email I just now received from VMK:

Hello and thank you for registering for the..

“VMK Build Your Own Gingerbread House” Room Competition!

Just a reminder on the rules:

- This will be a Single room competition created by a single player.
- The room MUST BE NAMED “Gingerbread House <your player name>”
- When you register please ONLY PROVIDE your player name and the name
of the room you are entering.
- If your player name is too long to fit into the room title, please be
sure to have your room titled "Gingerbread House." This will help our
judges find your room.
- The 3 categories in this competition are:
---Best Theme
---Most Creative
---Best Overall Experience

REMINDER: It is VERY important that the email address you used to
register for this competition is able to receive messages from VMK.

Once again, ONLY players that register exactly as instructed above will
be judged.

Judging will take place between Wednesday December 26th and Sunday
January 13th. The rooms will be judged in random order, so be sure your
room is ready by the 26th of December. You never know when you might be
visited by one of our fantastic judges!

While it is not necessary to have your room open to be judged, we hope
you will be able to keep it open often during the event weeks so other
Players can enjoy what you have created. Once your room is judged, a
Room Judging Flag in Purple will be placed in your room.

Third bullet under judging categories now reads:
Best overall experience (used to read, "Best overall ride experience")

So now would it be best to follow the email, or follow the advice you received from Lily about putting in as much as we can? I am able to title my room "Gingerbread House captured by".........

I would follow that letter, only because its newer information.

I'm pretty sure the hosts will have a list of player names to use for judging rooms. I think they want the words, "Gingerbread House" in the room titles so they know which room the entrant wishes to have judged. That's my take on it, anyway.
As for the ride confusion, I'm glad they took that part out with this email.

This will be a Single room competition created by a single player.

That's the first requirement. One room. I would assume you could build a ride within that room, but that ride can't extent beyond that.

No you do not need a ride in your room.

I have a question.

I got the same reminder e-mail that is posted at the top of the thread. Three of my family registered under the same e-mail address. The bottom of the e-mail lists one of the players name and room title. I didn't get it for the other 2, so does this mean we registered them wrong or only one e-mail is sent per address? I got 3 confirmation e-mails when I first registered, but now only 1 e-mail with the reminder and since it only contains one player name at the bottom now I'm worried. This happen to anybody else?

I would go through contact us and ask that question. I dont think anyone here would know the answer to that unless it happened to them also and they already wrote in.

If you entered more than one family member who have the same e-mail did you receive multiple reminder e-mails?

I'll try contact us and see if I get a response before the contest.
