Ok so some of you know about this....but I have officially opened the doors to my new VMK comedy club. I will post the actual name when I go look (I can't remember...LOL) but if you search for me or "comedy club" you will find it if it's open.
Basically, there is a stage and some chairs for audience. Anyone can come on stage and tell jokes. One person at a time on stage, and when you are done, go sit and whoever else can come up and tell jokes as long as they want. Even if you just have one joke, tell it and sit back down!
I had to go search online for "children's jokes" to find suitable VMK jokes and then test some of the words to see if they were VMK appropriate. I had to tweak some of the words, but people can still get the general idea. So, if you are interested, you can do the same! Make a text document of jokes, or memorize some VMK appropriate jokes (no matter how corny...mine are all corny...) and come tell them at the club! If you don't want to tell jokes, just come sit down and have some laughs (or groans)!
My comedy club is all-ages admitted so be clean! I know you have to be clean on VMK, but you never know with "dancing around the dictionary". I have already found about 12-15 short jokes and one-liners that work. But I do not want to be the only comedian, so if you are interested, find some jokes and come join the fun!
