New coffee pots in room!

I'm currently staying at Port Orleans riverside and yesterday morning I woke up and made coffee with the usual mini 4 cup coffee maker... Then last night when we got back to the room.... It was gone! In its place was a brew by the cup machine! You can brew two cups at a time - one on each side! It's by cuisinart and the coffee has been replaced by cuisinart coffee (??) brewing my first cup right now.... I took picture but Im not sure how to attach them with my phone...

That's great news! You said that they were individual cups - I wonder if K cups would work in them. I'd love to bring some down with us to use in the room! I won't get my hopes up, but.....

Ugh...now how am I going to make my hotdogs/chili/etc in my room to save money? Just kidding of course. I'm not a fan of this kind of pot (k-cup, etc). I'm a heavy coffee drinker, borderline addict, not just a cup here or there. I like to bring my own coffee with me and brew up a full pot to enjoy while everyone is getting ready, and even enjoy some in the evenings while relaxing.

If they have them in CBR when we arrive, would mousekeeping be able to leave extra pods/packs of coffee for me?

According to Rusty they are Cuisinart pods. They look like a round, flat gauze pad with coffee in the middle. They are not compatible with either Keurig or Tassimo and look nothing like those containers.

We had this pot when we were at WL last November. I would have loved if they had a Keurig in the room. We are avid coffee drinkers and almost thought of bringing ours with us last year.

SSR is a DVC resort. So, no, not at this time unless DVC decides to change out the coffee pots.

In terms of DVC, we were at BWV from 2/23-2/27. I noticed that the pots seemed spiffed up and new. They were the same 12 cup pots that took the same filters, but a nicer, newer version than when we were there in November (lots of chrome and pretty lights).

I'll have to check when we're back at BLT in a few weeks....2 trips close together with the Princess and then spring break!

. . . the use Cuisinart "pod" coffee/filter units
. . . not compatible with others, like k-cup
2) Not all installations complete yet.
