New codes, Jan/Feb. stay, AP rates

Hey - I think I might be getting down all the initials! Woohoo!


Now, I know I saw someone say that the Annual Passholder Best Rate for Fort Wilderness was approx. $145/night. So, I went to verify. But, when I try to do this, I need an annual pass number. Well, I don't have one of those because we're not buying one until late January so we can use it *again* next year. So, how can I find out the Annual Passholder rates for PORiverside and Ft. Wilderness. Now, if that is the AP rate for *now*, does it also apply to February's FW rates or must I wait until there are specific rates for February?

Next question: Does it really get any better than AP rates? I know that there have been no general public rates out in 2005, so I'm not terribly fearful at spending the extra $200 for an annual pass. I think it's a safe bet. Disney tells me I can book the rooms at AP rate and if I decide to not buy the AP pass, then it will just be modified to whatever deal I get between then and now. (Personally, I'm hopin' for another Play, Stay, Eat deal...)

To answer the first part of your question, you will need the AP to book with the Best Rate Program, so you will need to purchase it now. You can purchase it thru the mail & not have it activated until you arrive for your trip. From what I understand, you can use the numbers from your voucher. If you purchase your pass in January, you will not be able to take advantage of the Best Rate Program for Feb. You must book 120 days out to get those rates. You cannot book in Jan for Feb with the Best Rate Program.
