New Code for ALL Disney Visa CC

Coach...
Call CRO and ask them to price out the room only rate for your dates; you can switch rates without losing money (I did with this rate!). I understand that some resorts do no have all room levels available for the time frames within the discount period but you should be able to get a feel for what savings you would get with the new discount. If the CM is not helpful, hang up and call back. Use the toll free # 1-800-828-0228 and good luck!

I had a Bank One Yahoo! card....saw these rates posted on MouseSavers and contacted Bank One if I could just switch my card to a Disney Rewards card without re-applying---they said no problem! It's a Visa card I never used anymore, and had no balance, so they were probably eager to get me to use it again. Still doubt I will use it, but I thought, gosh, if I was in the position to book a trip, you cannot beat these rates!

I will say that I miss the Disney Club card too; it's a shame that you have to have a credit card (with crummy interest rates) to get any perks.

You know, this is a nice deal and all, but it still doesn't equal the deal that they are offering to some new Disney Visa cardholders. I'm feeling a little left out in the cold, as I didn't get anything when I got the card about a year ago. This offer is something, but there's still a chance that they'll offer a room discount to the public too. That's what they did for the spring. The Visa holders were offered this "exclusive" deal, and then Disney turned around and offered the deal to everyone. It kind of cheapens it for me, personally.

Thanks to this board and all of you - I booked the Pop Century for our trip coming up in May. My youngest DD is going to be ONE on May, 8th and we will be celebrating her birthday in the Magic!!

Thanks again.

DavidandDenise,
Don't feel so bump out. I've applied for a Disney Visa card early this month (Feb) and when I got the card last week, I didn't have the Dream Maker Deal either.

Did you call Disney and check? I didn't get anything that said I would get the 7 for 4 deal and I called and I qualified for it. I believe the application dates are 2/5-3/31. You would qualify for the room only codes too if those are your travel dates.

I just called and she said that CTV code was only good until 7-4. We aren't going until Sept. She said to check back on package deals after this code ends in April. Did anyone get a quote for room using CTV for PC and would you mind letting me know what it was, so I can compare it to my AAA rate. Thanks!

Since we will arrive on July 4, can we get the rate for July 4th - 10th---or does it end on the 4th?

I've read that arrival must be by the 4th of July - -confused here.

Thanks for any help.

I believe you will get the rate that applies for the date of check-in. I would call them and ask. I take it to mean that it goes through 7/4, but who knows. CRO/WDTC has given out wrong answers before.

With all these new codes and deals coming out I am confused as to which would be the best deal.

I am booked right now for the last week of april. I booked with the Kids Play free visa package.

Then 2 weeks ago I got the offer in the mail from the disney card for the 7 nights for the price of 4 deal.

now I see the deal for the discounted room rate.

If I am going for 7 nights which is the best deal?
There are 5 of us going. 3 kids although one is 12 and doesn't qualify at the kid rate so I guess it's 3 adults and 2 kids.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?

I am thinking the 7 nights for the price of 4 would be the best deal but I'm not sure.

Thanks for any help

If you reserved your room with an travel agent, they can make the comparisons for you. If not, call the 800# and you may get a compassionate CRO that will do the same. As long as it is a package, they should transfer it for you. Have fun.

PC is $69 a night plus tax or $77 a night, however I think prices are $10 lower in September.

I know people were getting $55 a night earlier this year. You can check out www.mousesavers.com for historical data on discounts at any given time of year. She lists who got the discount, when it first was offered, what the discount was, and when the rates were valid. All the values are priced the same. You do have to dig around the site a bit to find this info...

With two kids between 3 and 9 and two adults staying at a value the kids play free was a better deal by a long shot. But as there are five of you you might be staying at a mod or deluxe- in that case the 7 for 4 might be a better deal. Kids are always free in your room so the free part of the stay and play is exactly the price of the UPH's for two children. I would just call and get a quote for the 7 for 4 deal, you have the numbers on the kids play free deal (I assume, since it must have been booked already, the offer expired).

Kitkatsmom,

I don't think you will be able to get an answer to your question as we don't know what price you are paying for your package.

Where are you staying? The room only code prices are listed in the first post of this thread. The price of an adult 7 day hopper plus is $314 through Paramount International. I'm not sure of the kids price. You also get a breakfast voucher (good at character meals) with each ticket.

As someone posted earlier, kids stay free in the room either way. You need to add up the cost of the room only plus tickets, and get a quote for the stay 4 get 3 free package to know which would be best for you.

I just noticed a post that Paramount is no longer offering breakfast vouchers but is sending Disney Quest passes instead - sorry for the wrong information!

Okay, I called--got a really helpful CM, and they applied the discount to my reservations. We are arriving on 07-04 and leaving on 07-10. He told me that since our arrival was on the 4th, the discount would apply to my entire reservation. I had already applied my 1st night to my Disney Visa when I made the orginal reservation at the beginning of the month (at full price).

My confirmation # is still the same, just the discount rate was applied.

Thanks everybody--I didn't get anything, or I didn't read it if I did. The CTV code applies to anyone with a Disney Visa.

I just used the code on a pre-existing 3 day room only reservation at the AK Lodge. I had to put a night on my DVisa (I had already sent a deposit for one night) But I saved $275 on the 3 nights!
