New Clothes/Bathing Suit for your upcoming Disney Trip?

LOL...this is EXACTLY what DH told me this evening!!!

Gotta do the hair, nails, pedi..and for just make sure 2 ds have enough clean, with no stains or tears clothes, otherwise it's shopping for them. I live in S FL so its about the same as Orlando temp wise which means my everyday clothes are what most where ther. I homeschool my boys so we live in crocs and shorts. I get excited if a cold spell is coming in Dec because then I'll buy a sweater or jacket and maybe a pair of jeans. Currently only DH even has a pair of jeans to wear.

Yes, in fact I think I have bought too much, but I figure I can always wear them when I return as well as next summer (with the hopes I don't gain weight)! Any excuse to shop. I have purchased about 4 new tanks, 4 new shorts (2 khaki, one black one white) a polo, and a two nice shirts for when we visit City Walk and eat at Narcoossee's. Oh, and a new bathing suit!! No mani's or pedi's here, I do my own pedicures here at home with a french manicure kit (around $7.00).
We'll be at Pop August 10th-18th.

I bought a few tops and skorts for our upcoming trip. Everyone got new flip-flops. I got a new swimsuit because I have one that I like to wear in public, and it is so old that it's starting to show wear and tear. I found a great sale at Landsend.com, so I'm super excited to try it out.

I got a new swimsuit from landsend too and I absolutely love it!! They really had some great sales!

Leaving Saturday! Got a pedi today, and I've bought two new swimsuits. Not really wearing any new clothes, though. I have too many clothes as it is!

Just FYI to those of you going soon that are waiting to buy new clothes, a lot of stores by me are putting fall clothes out already. I thought i'd wait and get some good sales, and it's been really hard to find shorts for our trip. At least they were all good prices...

Let's face it, I'm 54 years old, carrying too much Post-menopausal weight. I don't do cute!!!! In fact, I often think cute is nauseating!!! (Did I say I was POST menopausal?!?!?)

Haven't worn a bathing suit since I became menopausal, don't want to scare small children . I bring what's comfortable in the Sept heat and looks semi-presentable. As for new underwear, I do buy some. Then I take the old stuff to Disney and throw it out as I use it!!

So if any of you cute little things see a crabby old lady glaring at you, stop by & say hi!!!

I buy all new shirts, tanks and a few new pairs of shorts or pants. I make sure to get a mani/pedi and go to the hair salon so that I'll have the perfect cut for all my pictures! Now, I also buy my mom some shirts that match mine then I buy my nephews shirts that go with ours (usually we just go by color, so the 2 boys match and my mom and I match). I mean, we can't have the same clothes on as we did in prior years, oh the horror

I have quite a bit of summer Disney only things, so this year I just bought a few new cute tops and a really pretty long white skirt and a new bathing suit. Every year I look for sandals that will be comfortable (not hot) but will give me some support. I got a pair of Easy Spirit anti-gravity sandals that seem good so far, but I'll probably just end up wearing my Teva mush flip flops every day.

I always LOVE LOVE LOVE to buy new outfits for vacation. Since I go to disneyworld 2x a year and take pictures each trip I need to have different clothes then previous trips otherwise all the pictures would look the same

I will be getting my hair cut/colored. I always get a mani/pedi before I go.... I probably will get a few new things, but I don't really *need* any new clothes!!! It wouldn't hurt to check out the end of the summer sales though!!!

Always!!!! We go shopping for a "Disney Trousseau" every trip and get a mani/pedi. Must have fresh toes when we go. I have rhinestones in various sizes and I have the technician doing my pedi place them in the shape of a Mickey head on my big toes. CUTE!!!!!

Every time I go clothes shopping, Disney is in the back of my mind. I will pick something up and say "Oh! This will be great for Disney!" I do wear them before the trip but, I'm very careful to make sure they stay in tip top shape. And of course, there's the haircut, brow wax, mani and pedi too!

The girls and I get a new wardrobe, swim suit, cover-up, Teva's, haircuts, I get a color job, and we all get pedi's (the girls is a kiddie one). DH gets a new swim suit, new Teva's, new clothes, and of course a hair cut. For us it's part of the experience that goes with our vacation. Everyone gets new stuff and then we continue to wear it once we get home.

For our upcoming trip, the girls and I got our hair cuts today, our bags are all packed with the new clothes (we pack as we bring them home), my pedi appts. are made, hair color appt. made and DH's is too. So, we are just biding time now.

I bought a pair of Chacos today for the trip because last time my feet were KILLING me by the end of the week!
Oh, & I scheduled my high-light appt today for right before Sept trip.
Gotta have the family looking good in the pics, we want a good Christmas card picture!
