New Cinderella Character Dinner

There is a new Cinderella's Character Breakfast coming to 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian beginning in early Jan. You can make reservations 120 days in advance, dinner is 5PM-8:40PM and costs 23.pp per adult and 10.99 3-10. Cost includes dinner non-alcoholic beverage and dessert. What I read said that there will be all the Cinderella characters. Sounds like a great time I will try it out in May when I go.

I got the email about that too. I think it is great for those who are trying to get to have breakfast with the Princesses. I am sad to see that they are not going to have Mary Poppins there any longer. We stayed at the GF when it first opened and have great video of my children with Mary when they were just 2 and 4 years old. I guess the younger children aren't that interested in Mary Poppins .

DisneyDenise, I believe the new Cinderalla meal is only at dinner. Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter and others are still around at breakfast (at least that's what DVC Member services told me when I booked the GF breakfast at 1900 park fair - for February 14 - yesterday). No worries.

"There will be a new set of characters for dinner at 1900 Park
Fare in the Grand Floridian starting January 5, 2003! Called
Cinderella's Gala Feast, characters tentatively set to appear
include: Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla, the Fairy
Godmother, Lady Tremaine, and those two nasty stepsisters,
Anastasia and Drizella.

Priority Seatings can be made 120 days in advance. Price for
adults is $23.99; for children ages 3-11, $10.99 (which includes
dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage). Hours are 5 p.m.-8:40 p.m.

I wonder if these ressies will be as hard to get as breakfast I hope not , we will have our 5 year old neice with us and all she cares about is seeing Cinderella
We will be going the Monday after the 4th of July.

The CM I talked to expects this meal to get very hectic to book also. This one you can book 120 days out. I would book as soon as you are 120 days out.

Well folks, I got a booking for the first night of our trip which happens to be the first night of this New Dinner. We have
PS for 5:10 p.m., so I will let you know how it goes.

I found out what the Menu will be, this is what they said:

We just did this same dinner with the same menu Saturday night. It was with Pooh and Friends. I am glad that we did it because the Grand Floridian is GREAT. But we will NOT be doing it again. It was WAY too small of a restaurant. The character interaction was not good at all and it was VERY noisy. The Liberty Tree Tavern has been the best by far. ALTHOUGH, I love Minnie BUT she does not come close to Cinderella.

I know that adding Cinderella will only add to the chaos. Although, I know just to get her autograph is justification enough. Because we just did her breakfast yesterday, it was over in 30 minutes and that is being generous. It was also very loud. We did not get to finish our breakfast before we were handed our bill. I know this is a rushed breakfast but GEE, for the money they are getting I expected a little bit more. We were even 8 minutes early for our PS.

I am interested in hearing about your dinner. I hope you have a magical time.

We have PS's for March 6, which happens to be my DD's 6th birthday. They told me that they would note it on the PS and to tell them at the restaurant so that they would bring out a cupcake, etc. I don't know who is more excited about it!

There used to be a dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park fare about 5 years ago, I remeber going with my kids, the mice were also there. Then it went to the Villains dinner, then Pooh, and now back to Cindy.....
We have always enjoyed that restaurant, the food is good, and it is nice to visit the Grand Floridian

Whew! It sounds like a great meal, but I was so worried that they might replace Alice and the Mad Hatter! Glad to know the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare stays the same!

I have my ps for April 13th. I thought it would be a great way to enjoy our first sit down dinner this vacation. Everyone seems really excited about it, but mostly my Mom and my dd when I said Perla and Suzy might be there!

Perla and Suzy are the Girl Mice that assist Cinderella.
My mom and daughter can't wait to see them. We have opening night PS for 5:10 p.m.. My husband even likes the Menu.
