The Chicago Tribune is reporting today that the new "Experiential" Disney stores ( 1 of 6 in the US) opened in Chicago Tuesday. It is located downtown at Washington & State in Chicago. From the sounds of the article it seems to be centered on princesses & shoes. The stores include a number of interative stations, ex: "A sparkly blue pixie path leads princesses to a glistening castle surrounded by magic wands, tiaras and princess gowns( all for sale). Little visiters can choose a costume, step inside the castle & wave a want in front of the magic mirroe, summoning a princess for a chat". There is also a garage where you can build stars from "cars" with your choice of wheels and rims. They also mention a small theatre & daily activities such learn to draw workshops. The writer mentions that the store is 4,500 sq ft & everywhere you look is shoes, lol. Sounds like it will be a place you wont be able not to buy something if you bring your princes into. Thought folks would like to hear about the new store opening. Have fun.
