"New" changes to R&C menu??

There is an article here on the Dis about new updates to the R&C menu. I looked at the menu in the article and can't really tell what is different? I think everything we ordered (apps and meals) on our trip this past May is still on the menu. Does anyone know what changed?

I noticed a few changes to the kids' menu (at least I think so!). There is now a turkey and cheese flatbread and butter chicken as kids' options (no more grilled chicken, baked fish, or steak). Some of the sides with the entrees look a little different, too. But it's not dramatically different.

Yes the Steak and the Steak and fish have been removed

Yes they removed the items we planned to order. We wanted the steak or the steak with fish & chips. So I cancelled my ADR and booked Chef de France instead.

I know they used to have more apps previously as well as the steak and the change to the fish. I decided to change our ADR to Spice Road Table.

We did the exact same thing. Cancelled R&C and booked Spice Road instead.

Totally agree, we did the same thing. R&C was one of our musts and now it's a no way.

We loved Chefs De France! It was a great choice and we will go there again.

After reviewing the "new" menu, we will still go to R&C. R&C is a prefect example of pub food from the U.K. R&C isn't the place I would have got to for steak anyhow so the "new" menu is good with us. The "new" menu is more similar to small town pub menus in which most don't have steak on them also.

I was wondering about this. I thought the steak had been removed awhile ago. Maybe, I'm missing something.
