To try to answer all of the previous questions here...
We are going April 18th-25th!
We booked the water parks, more /hopper already..should they credit the difference?
we booked through CAA
The other poster is correct - you cannot "stack" offers. Call your CAA agent and have them price out the vacation with the free ticket upgrade - unless you will be saving more than the CAA room-discount you likely received, stick with what you have got. Additionally, depending on the resort you are currently booked into, there may not be availability in that resort for the ticket upgrade promotion - if you are willing to switch resorts, however, and it saves you more, that could be done.
i have booked thru a
travel agent in my home town....which i believe she booked my disney trip thru "holiday house"....i booked a room at pop from arpril 14 to 24 with dining and 10 day park hopper ..is it possible to get a reinbursement for the free park hopper?
Probably, but you'll have to call your TA. If you have already paid in full through a credit card, there should be a way to credit that back to you. If you have paid in full by cheque or other means, I have heard of people being given Disney Gift Cards in the amount of the credit. It will all depend on how your
travel agency and Disney have things worked out - but one way or another, if there is availability left with the promotion, or you are willing to switch resorts to get it, you should be able to get some type of reimbursement. If you haven't paid in full, then there should be no problems in adjusting the balace owing - again, based on availability.
I'm wondering the same thing as well....Does anyone know if there is a certain resort you have to stay at or could it be any of them?
This was sent out as a Value Resort promotion, but it appears as though other resorts can be booked, including Mods and Deluxes - once again, all of these are based on availability - you might not get your first choice in a particular category - but call and ask!
once a trip is booked and almost paid for thru a canadian travel agent do they have the power to review package and apply any discount that have come up...i am 53 days away from my trip and still did not get any tickets..i think i should be able to get the ticket discount...do you?
it sure would nice to get $400 back
As per my replies above - even if you HAD the tickets, they can - providing availability - adjust your ressie. Even if you went down there holding BASE Tickets in your hands, your new confirmation forms, showing the Hopper and Water Parks add-ons would be applied to those tickets. Disney policy is that you can purchase any of the add-ons for tickets as long as they haven't been fully used by paying full price on-site. If you received a promotional upgrade, they would add it on as though you had purchased the upgrade upon arrival.
I am not a Disney professional, but in reading through other threads and Disney policies, I think that the answers I have given are right - but if anyone knows that I have made a mistake, please correct any errors that I have made.
Thanks!
