New Castaway Club bag

Got this on the Eastbound Transatlantic:

It sort looks like a rucksack, with a drawstring at the top of the bag (under the flap). The tumbler is the Platinum gift, as far as I can tell. It's nice, but the top doesn't screw on, so it comes off fairly easy (too easily sometimes!).

On your second cruise as long as your Castaway Cay Club number is on the booking. You get 1 gift per a stateroom with the default being the highest level in the room.

Thanks PrincessShmoo the bag looks great. Makes me want to do something other than the Caribbean/Bahaman cruises because I don't need another beach bag.

It is just in the stateroom when you first arrive. If it isn't there by day 2 you can just ask.

The bag I like the best was the one we got on our Hawaii cruise in 2012. It was only available for a short time, and I wish I could have gotten more like it (like all the multiples I have of other bags)

We received this on the Alaska cruise too!! The cup came with Gold as well so same gidt for gold and olatinum so far. I am using the cup right now

If you were going by my report, it is possible that either a) my memory was faulty, or b) that my tablemates hadn't yet looked inside the bag and found the cup. I know I didn't realize it was in there until the 3rd day or so.

And platinum on the WBPC Repo got the burlap bag with an album. I like this better. However my favorite is your's Shmoo. I got it as Silver on the Fantasty in 2012.

We finally had to retire our backpack last month. Very sad.

I like the bag but personally I would prefer DCL to offer a throw or a beach towel because I have too many castaway club bags that I give them away to family/friends. Nevertheless thanks for the update.

Hmmm.... interesting. On the transatlantic, reports were that Gold only got the bag and no tumbler.

We got the Burlap style beach bag and two of those tumblers earlier this month on the DREAM as Gold CC Members. SIS and BIL just got back from the DREAM and got only the Burlap style beach bag no tumblers as SILVER CC Members.

Not crazy about it, but thanks for posting. I'm a zipper kind of person, I don't like clasps and things could fall out. Also not liking the color. Oh well, I too would love a beach towel!

The bag is nice but I agree with some of the others, I would prefer something other than a bag. I have too many bags already. A beach towel (like in the olden days) would be awesome.
