New Canon EOS Rebel XT Arrived Yesterday

My DH purchased this for me for Christmas, but I am getting it a little early to get acquainted before Christmas trip.

I previously had the Sony CyberShot in digital and the Canon EOS RebelG for 35MM.

I have to say I am a little intimidated by this new camera. Not sure why, but for some reason I am. I would love to hear others experiences with this camera.

Don't be intimidated!

The main dial works just like your Rebel G. Program mode, Aperture Priority, Shutter Speed Priority, etc. are identical, and the pop up flash and hot shoe are the same, and the lens mount is the same.

There are digital controls, too, but the main camera features are just like any other Canon SLR.

Just take it one step at a time.

If you don't use "auto" mode remember to set your ISO for the conditions.
