DH and I are looking at pop-ups. It will be a while before we buy, but we like to know what we're looking for. DH wants a popup with a front deck to carry his tires when he goes four wheeling. He is looking at one where the pop-ups go out to the sides of the trailer instead of front to back. You are then able to use the front deck as a seating area when you are camping. I don't want to get a trailer that won't fit at FW. Are the sites wide enough for this kind of pop-up?

I'm on Toy Hauler number 3 and I also looked at the kind you described. I looked at a couple other models I'd suggest before you make a decision. The only real turn off about the Scorpion I didn't like was the bathroom. I prefer a hard wall enclosed bathroom. Just to be blunt I've been in a few popups like this and regular pop ups and it always smells no matter what the people used in the toilet. I'm not sure why but it just does. Another thing about the slide outs being on the sides is you've always got to walk around the beds which I thought was a turnoff as well. It's just an opinion and I thought about these other 2 to present as a suggestion. Good luck in your looking. We 4 wheel too and I like to have a good place for the bikes and be comfortable.
