New California Grill menu

We're going in a couple of weeks, so thank you for the dessert recommendation! For apps, I'm going to be torn between the ravioli, which is a favorite from years ago, and the wontons that everyone raves about!

What are the odds of still being able to order the spicy kazan roll despite it being left off the new menu?

It's listed on the menu as peanut and banana torte. It's basically peanut butter creamy goodness on a shortbread crust drizzled in caramel and topped with a salt sprinkle - with caramelized bananas on the side. I don't like bananas, so my husband ate those. The torte itself is just decadent - almost like a candy bar but creamy and smooth.

Am I dreaming or was that on the menu years ago? I could swear I had that there in maybe 2014ish?

New menu is posted. Some new additions. Not sure it's different enough from the 50th menu to make me want to visit again....

The menu sounds yummy - I’d order the wontons, the risotto or venison or grouper , and that ganache dessert ….

I may make an ADR and then cancel something, but problem is, I already have to cancel Jaleo to make room for Rosa Mexicano. The only one I could see myself cancelling is SH 71 since I have a lunch there also

Sigh, decisions…which I guess was made for me; it’s all booked up for that day and probably every other day

I’m so glad they’ve left the Florida Black Grouper on as it was amazing when I had it there last summer

oh yum, because that’s really want I want. Think they’d substitute more bok choy for mushrooms, which I hate ?

I'm so bummed! The goat cheese ravioli was my favorite thing from CG and we were there last week before the newest menu was out.

Will they ever go back to an a la carte menu?

We were disappointed to hear it's staying as prix fixe. I cancelled our reservation and got one at Jaleo instead.

Just bring back regular menus!
