new BWV reqests don't always work.

Just wanted to let everyone know. I booked my reservation 11 months out day by day for my September trip to the Boardwalk. I requested Boardwalk view then. I called today after reading about the new policy and was told that I didn't request boardwalk view ( i have a typed confirmation dated november 3, 2002 with Boardwalk view listed) and she would put me in for a confirmed boardwalk for the first 4 days of my trip but waitlist me for the last 3 nights. I was surprised. If they took the resrevations from 11 months out and worked forward they skipped me. If I didn't call I wouldn't have a boardwalk view at all. So even if your reservation says it call and check anyways. She told me that they should allow me to stay those last three days I just hope they are right. We shall see,

While this policy may work out in the end, I bet people will be more upset for a few months. Previously, some people may just assume by booking 11 months out they would have a good chance of getting BWV. Since not everyone reads these boards and/or the DVC site, they may be pretty upset when told the new policy at check-in.
