New Bus Service To BUF

New bus service starting soon called Megabus that has service from Downtown Toronto to (among other places ) Buffalo Airport.
It leaves from the Royal York Hotel.
You can get a promotion price of $1 each way for a limited number of seats (I punched in my dates for August and for 4 passengers it came to a total of $33.50 including tax !! ).
There are two trips each way each day.

What a great price! I looked at jetways shuttle and it is much more $$$.
Flying from BUF is great however to drive a car there isn't an option for me.

My DD21 sent me this link last night...she likes the NYC idea for $1. Looks like you have to get in there fast for that one tho!!

I am flying Ryan Air that is mentioned in the article...4 of us, from Frankfurt, Germany to Venice, Italy for 100 Euros (app $150). Great to see some cheaper forms of travel coming to To for a change!

This is new promotion for a company owned by Stagecoach (one of the biggest bus and rail companies in UK,Canada and USA).
Stagecoach also owns Coach Canada and Trentway Wagar (they used to own Gray Coach but sold it to Greyhound).
They apparently guarantee your seat and have video entertainment and free Wi-Fi.
Its only a 2hr 15 min journey so there are no stops.
(A far cry from the crappy,old,expensive Greyhound coaches which take 4-1/2 hrs to get from TO to BUF stopping at every village along the way !.. )
