Hi Everyone!

I am so excited to finally be able to join in your discussions as my honey FINALLY proposed May 3rd!!! :cool1:

I have been reading all the posts for weeks and getting a ton of information for our Wishes wedding. We are hoping to have it December 14, 2009 at WP and reception at Napa Room.

So, my quesiton is and it is probably very silly but...how do I start a planning journal on here? Just start a new thread and add to it??

Also, have a seperate question on transportation for guests. Has anyone used an outside vendor for bus transportation?

Thanks - can't wait to hear from all of you out there!!:bride:

:jumping1: Congratualations!!! I can't help with the transportation questions. But to start a PJ you were right. Just start a new thread and add to it! Can't wait to hear about your plans.

congrats!!!! I am new to the board as well. I have gained so much info!! From what i have learned I think you have to have Disney buses as far as know.

Congrats!!! Can't wait to read your Planning Journal!!!! :yay:

Oh I just saw your bus question!!...lol

Disney does have charter buses. The buses are charter buses so they are nicer than the ones that take you to the parks. The cost is 93.00 per hour and there is a 5 hour minimum.

We did WP/CG and hired the buses but everyone drove!

Only 8 or 12 people got on the bus.

I'd suggest skipping it altogether. It was a waste of almost $700 for us.

Hi!!! Welcome and Congrats!!!!!!!

Lynn :)

Thank you everyone your your Congratulations!

I think I am going to see where my family and friends stand on the bus issue and see if there are any alternate ways of getting everyone there. I just can't see spending $700 (thanks faeriegrl) for a bus only half my quests would use. (We are only have 30 people including me and DF.)

Welcome and congrats on getting engaged!!! :cutie: We look forward to reading your PJ!

It really all depends on where you are wanting to have your ceremony and reception. For instance, if you where to get married at SBP and then had your reception somewhere in Epcot, then you could get a boat to charter your guests.

Do you have any idea of where you would like to have your ceremony and reception? Be aware that this might change a few times before you confirm the actual place. ;)

Oh, and CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay:

sending a little pixie dust your way............pixiedust:

Oh my Gosh you are a Boston girl to, that's so awsome! My DF is in Virgina but he will be moving back to MA when we get hitched.

We are hoping to have our ceremony at WP and reception at CG in the Napa Room. We are having it on a Monday so we are hoping that is going to be in our favor to get our date, place and time.

I lived in Boston for a few, that's how I met my fiance'(Frank). He's the one that is from Boston, Watertown actually. All of his family is out there. He moved out to Indiana (where I am from) when I moved back here. We now live in a suburb of Indianapolis. But we love B-town!!!

GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could have people walk to the GF or Poly and have them take the monorail over to the CG. But then you still have the problem of getting them from their resorts to the WP. Hmmmmm.....:scratchin

Btw, you should check out my planning journal. I have some of our enagement photos posted and I think you will get a kick out of a couple of them.

Oh my Gosh! I just bought my wedding dress last night from a bridal shop in Watertown! As soon as I have enough posts I am going to post the pictures in my PJ.

LOVE THE SOX, PATS AND CELTICS (1st game - won)! :dance3:

I will check out our PJ tonight. I am leaving work and working on doing that tonight.

Yeah, the transportation is is a head scratcher. I thought of that to using the monorail, it would be so easy but there is the to and from resort issue. I was thinking if we do the monorail we could use a limo for the to and from but I am not sure???

Too funny that you bought your dress in Watertown! What shop was it?

I LOVE THE CELTICS TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a mad passion for "THE TRUTH" #34!!!!! :thumbsup2 And I don't think he faked his injury.

So it looks like we can be friends and co-fans during Baseball and Basketball season but we're rivals during Football. :rotfl2:

The shop was New Look Bridal on Main St. They have been fantastic so far! :thumbsup2

Oh yeah, Indy...football we might have some rivalary going on.:rotfl2: ;)

Just finished reading your PJ and it was awesome! I knew every place you were talking about in Boston. I worked in the Financial district for 5 years and hung out all around there. I love your ring and dress! Absolutley beautiful and I would go with hairstyle 1 if you don't like the ribbon and 5 if you do. 5 would be perfect with your dress!

oh how exciting!! i'm so happy for you !! yea! another DisBride !! have fun planning !! and if you haven't picked your dress already check out alfred angelo designs. they are gorgeous dresses. have fun !!

YIPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
