Anyone been able to book a room/package in the lst few days with the 40% off and NOT had their own pincode? Looks like CRO has tightened up!

They've tightened up alright - In fact, they charged me DOUBLE on the deposit I put down on Friday!

My friend who has never been to disney (no pin code w/ her name) booked w/ the Z code successfully and is thrilled! They are a family of 6 and needed two rooms. This was a HUGE savings for them.

When did she do this?

oops - I was just assuming that the deposit he was putting down was for a new ressie booked with a code....:headache:

sorry boom -

I was thinking the same thing, since he said he put the deposit down on Friday, I assumed he got the discount. He may never tell though, since he mentioned he wouldn't tell if he got the discount :) Hope he did though!! Maybe my pixie dust worked :)

Yes, someone close to me got a discount today, and there is no way she could have a pin, Disney does not have her address, home or email, and she hasn't been there since she was a kid. She got 40% off a Value resort in September.

We FINALLY got a postcard today...well sort of. We lived with my parents for a few months while we were building our house. This was over seven years ago. My mom stopped by today and handed me some mail. After seven years, we still get junk mail sent to their house. Well... this was no junk mail. It was a huge tri-fold card from Disney Destinations. When I opened it up, it said I could save 40% plus get a free photopass movie. I nearly sprained my ankle from jumping up and down:yay: . When we were living with my parents, my kids were just babies and we had never been to disney, never called, never signed up at their website, etc. BUT.....we did have a Disney Store discount card.

We are going to CRB August 22-30...8 nights, 7 day park hopper for three adults (my son is 10) and a child ($1810). Then we are going on a 3 day Disney Cruise:woohoo:

I hope that Disney shines a little magic my way....this will be our first year needing 2 rooms so that 40% would be GREAT!

My neighbor just called last night and got the discount for an Allstars for September. She didn't have a pin but was offered the discount!

Please pardon me...I'm new...where do you get these codes? How can you get on a list?

TIA!

From what I can gather these codes are randomly sent out by Disney Marketing and are for a room rate reduction. We're not sure exactly why or how Disney selects the people on their lists. For the most part a post card or flyer has been sent to some people with a discount of 40%. Others it seems were able to contact Disney and some where able to get the discount while others were not. :confused3
I'm a little confused on the whole thing myself.
