I was wondering if anyone has tried this restaurant yet. Spoodles was one of my favorite Disney restaurants and I was very upset to see it had closed:sad1:

However, it looks like the new restaurant offers similar food and I was wondering how it compares???

Kouzzina's, its greek food and thus not really like what Spoodles (Italian) offered but it is very good. However, if you are from Chicago and used to its Greek Town restauarants, Kouzzina will be somewhat of a disappointment in comparison.

I've heard and read lots of good things about Kouzzina and can't wait to try it!

Bobbi:goodvibes

Cat Cora does know how to do it right. I just wish the menu was a bit more extensive, but I guess that isn't really the WDW way anymore.

I agree, I miss the days of "The Specials" where you get something new and out of the ordinary to try!

With that said, my favorite Kouzinna dish is the Whole Roasted Fish!!

Mine too!

We've only eaten there for breakfast and it was great. We ended up eating breakfast there 4 more times during our vacation. We were trying to decide if we should try dinner there, but none of the entrees appealed to us.

We ate breakfast twice this past April and wish we had done dinner but never had the chance. Can't wait to go back. :thumbsup2

Mine too!

Put me down for a big :thumbsup2 on the whole fish too.

DS14, who's slightly picky really liked the flank steak(had sauce on the side). I tried a bite with the sauce. If I was in the mood for beef I might try that next time.

So it sounds like it is good place to try :goodvibes Any idea if I can find a menu somewhere? Thanks!!

Kouzzina's was great. We ate there in early April '11. I agree that the menu was a bit limited. It could certainly use additional choices. For my kids, it was a bit tougher to come up with something that they were pleased with. (No issue with the kids menu, just the older ones ordering from the main menu). The atmosphere is pretty noisy, but I recall the same thing when it was Spoodles.

I'm from the Detroit area, so we are familiar with good Greek food. We were pleasantly surprised even though we had read some poor reviews. A refreshing change of pace from the normal Disney fare :thumbsup2

Go to the the WDW info section of this larger website, select dining. There's a menu for virtually every restaurant within WDW, along with a good overall search function.

As to Kouzzina ... we love it. We only ever had breakfast at Spoodles, and now have only had breakfast at Kouzzina. Overall we think the breakfast is better now than it was when it was Spoodles. Spoodles seemed to start off well a number of years agao, and had a great breakfast buffet, but then it seemed to go down hill, and, if I remember correctly, the buffet was eliminated at some point as well. We love the Turkey Sweet Potato Hash at Kouzzina, which I copied & pasted from wdwinfo below:

Turkey-Sweet Potato Hash - With Two Eggs and Arugula Salad

(my suggestion ... get it with poached eggs)

Think we may try breakfast there! Many great reports!:goodvibes

Can't go wrong with the breakfast!!! I usually don't like to try new foods but felt daring one morning and ordered out of my comfort zone, so glad I did. Best breakfast ever!!!!!

Go into www.allears.net. Then at top, Walt Disney World, on left Resort Hotels, then scroll down to Boardwalk! Find Kouzzina menus there..

Great to find menus on that site!:cool1::cool1::cool1:
