New Boardwalk Pizza menu!

I'm actually kind of jazzed about this. We'll be at BC and need a lunch for our pool day that isn't Hurricane Hanna's. Pizza and cannoli for around $25 is a great solution!

Perfect timing as I expect I won't arrive at the resort until 10:30 PM or so on the 31st :) I hope it stays open that late!

We stayed at Boardwalk in early July. The window was still under construction, but we were still able to order food (not the new menu). My husband and daughter had the personal pepperoni pizza and I had the signature pizza. It was delicious, but now it looks like they got rid of the signature pizza. So bummed! Oh well, it's still a great option for us for lunch during our pool days at Boardwalk.

Oh, I hope this is accurate. We're staying at BWV in February and there will be a few down times at the pool where we'll be getting QS lunch/dinner at the resort. Given prior awful reviews, I assumed we'd be sticking to Boardwalk Bakery or the pool bar, but good (or good enough) pizza will much better satisfy our crew.

Oh my gosh!!! That pizza looks sooooo much better!!! We will definitely give it a try when we are there in December. The previous pizza was worse than a frozen pizza, so we stopped going there long ago. Yay... a (hopefully) good change!!!

The last time we were at Boardwalk (late May) we decided to get pizza at the window, get a bottle of wine from the Screen Door and people-watch. The pizza was so bad that we actually put a reminder in our phones that we should NOT under ANY circumstances get pizza there during our next trip in September. The dough was barely cooked, the cheese coverage was minimal and the pizza itself was so much smaller than the box, that when we picked it up I almost thought they forgot to put it in there! I actually went back to the window and asked if they gave us the wrong thing (I thought maybe we got a gluten free crust by mistake)! The girl at the window just rolled her eyes, said "You got what you ordered" and walked away. We decided that if we ever get another pizza craving, we'll go to Il Mulino.

Oh wow! I like the menu and the option for subs. This will be great for when we stay at the YC/BC.

Someone please report back once you try it.

I’m a Jersey girl going in November and staying at BWV. I’m a pizza snob but I’m looking forward to trying them out. We have always avoided the pizza window before.

Oh, good. I'm also a NJ pizza snob. Post your review here and it'll help me decide whether or not to risk it on our February trip. :-) I'd love to hear your feelings on the sandwiches, too. I generally don't order an Italian outside of NJ, PA, NY as they're always a let down.

I will definitely report back. During our 10 day trip we only have 3 ADRs and a good amount of resort time. I had us going to Boardwalk Bakery a few times but I'm sure we will make it over here at least for pizza once and hoagies once.

I agree. I'm skeptical on Italian hoagies outside of my area but I'll give it a whirl while we enjoy some pool time. Since the chef is from Jersey it makes me want to try it out more.

Well, since you called it a hoagie and not a sub, I know I can trust you. ;-)

Time to bump a five month old thread!! I haven't seen much chatter about this since the menu change over the summer. Anyone have feedback about the new pizza and hoagies?

@EdnaMarieMode @Shellyred8 @mi*vida*loca have any of you had a chance to actually try it in person? My trip is 35 days out and I'm hoping that I can keep this as a viable QS option when we're at the resort.

We ate here in December and it was delicious! The crust was crispy and the sauce was so good. We had eaten here in the past and swore never again! After the changes, and on the advice of a chef at the Innkeepers Club, gave it a try. We will be eating here again for a quick bite again in just 3 weeks!

We didn't get a chance. We did have sandwiches/ salads from Boardwalk Bakery one day and they were SO good. DH had the roast beef on foccaccia and I had the apple salad with grilled chicken and I would definitely have either one again. I know that doesn't answer your question but hopefully it helps someone looking to get a quick bite on the boardwalk just the same.
