I'm really excited about the new Transformers ride that is suppose to use the ride technology for Spiderman but with a "new twist"

Can't wait to find out what this new ride technology/effect is!

If they decide to add to and refurb Jurassic Park area would they be likely to do it this year? We are coming from London and my best friend is so excited about The Jurassic Park area.

It really depends on how much of the pre-planning is done already... and how much Universal wants to throw at doing the work.


As an example, It wasn't until last summer that Universal suddenly decided to demolish the old Murder She Wrote/Herc-Xena Soundstage and build Transformers. Around a year later is the scheduled open date on that attraction.

So Universal has show a willingness and ability to get something done quickly if they want to commit the resources on this project as well. I'd be willing to bet however that if it's a larger project that encompasses anything more complicated more than just a few shops or restaurants and they push it for a 2014 opening, That would pretty much confirm that we won't see Harry Potter 2 until 2015. (But would be nice in establishing a new attraction/draw every year trend)

Gosh, I see your point. Well we are booked to go in September so hopefully it will be still open. I know it is just a rumour anyway so will keep my fingers crossed that if it does happen, that it will be later than our visit

The only things left in the Lost Continent are Poseidan, Sinbad and Mythos.

Rumors on some of the other boards is that Jurassic Park is supposed to start after Transformers and Simpsons are finished.That would make it sometime this summer.
