new blog: Radiator Springs Racers: Cars Land’s new E-Ticket

wonderful review and video:cool1::cool1:

Thank you so much for sharing, I can't wait to experience CL in 2 weeks

In the blog, the writer stated the FastPass queue was right next to the entrance to the Stand By line (and the picture shows this as well). However, everything we've been reading for the past couple of months has said the FastPass queue will temporarily be the old It's Tough To Be A Bug distribution. Does anyone know if this is still the case? Based on the picture, it looks like the "real" FastPass distribution is ready to roll...

Can you tell me if there's any side-to-side jarring with the ride. I couldn't quite tell from the video. I have a form of spinal arthritis and can't ride things like BTMRR, Screamin' and Matterhorn. Is this more like a fast moving car or a roller coaster during the race portion?

Thanks!

I didn't see any pictures of fastpass distribution machines. I think you are confusing the fastpass queue (which is the line to USE your fastpass) with the fastpass distribution machines (which may very well have a long line as well).

When you have a fastpass, you still have to get into a queue to ride. That queue is right next to the standby queue. You'll still pick up your fastpass in bug's land.

What I found interesting was mention of a single rider line. I hope they have one and it's a way to ride relatively quickly.

In the picture from the blog at disunplugged.com, it shows the FastPass Distribution right next to the entrance for RSR (I would have included the hyperlink and image, but apparently my post count is still too low... I'm working on that ;)).

I'm still left wondering, is the FastPass distribution still going to be where the one for It's Tough To Be A Bug was or is this more permanent one going to be in use from the get-go on June 15th?

Yes the FastPass will still be by ITTBAB temporarily from the 15th on and until they deem crowds are managable enough to use the permanent ones at RSR later.

Thanks for posting! We are very excited to try this new ride!

I went on today. No Fastpass was offered. Single rider was offered and I used it twice. I waited in the stand by line once to to see it. It has a really cool bottle building. The ride itself I give a A- it gets the minus because I wish durring the race part you go faster. A CM told me the ride goes 45. Since this is like Test Track I think it should have gone at least 55 or so. Still it's a great ride and I love what WDI can do when they are given money.

Hi! Author of blog here.

While the FastPass machines are not active at this moment, they are indeed set up in an ""abandoned" business" next to the entrance to the ride. In the Lube building. You can't see them until you round the corner and step forward a bit.

Oh wow it looks totally awesome! Can't wait to ride it in September! I love the life size cars characters, what an experience.my kids will not believe their eyes!

Great review and can't wait :)

MiceAge has been reporting for a couple months that the RSR FPs are going to temporarily be where It's Tough to be a Bug's FPs machines used to be. They had pictures of the machines Friday and they appeared to be themed to RSR. http://micechat.com/459-disney-california-adventure/ and control-F for "temporary." Al or someone else reported the FP machines by the ride itself will eventually be in use, but they want to TRY to keep down crowds in Cars Land so they went to the expense of installing/converting the ones in Bugs Land to alleviate crowds.

I guess we'll see what they really do soon enough. Maybe you're both right and they could decide to issue FPs at both places?

Great writeup! Trying not to be COMPLETELY spoiled so I skipped the ride-through for now...we will see how long that lasts. :)

I wonder how many people are gonna get confused when they go all the way to the ride and realize that the FP distribution is not even in the land. They are going to have to communicate this really well because it's not intuitive to have the FP machines over in A Bug's Land.
