I watched them make candy canes when I went on the Adventures by Disney trip last December. My friend spent hours in line, but I got in line too late to get one.

However, our ABD guides worked some magic for us. Those of us who did not get any were presented a cane per party on our last day.

There were people getting tickets for guaranteed canes right at park opening, but we were the "stragglers" who got any that were not part of the dedicated tickets when we stood in line. I'm glad that ABD was able to make magic for those of us who didn't get one in line.

Oh how fun! Out of all my Disneyland Holiday trips over the years I have never seen them making the candy canes. Looks like Nancy had fun!! There have been so many good blog postings lately- thanks guys!

I had a blast. It's funny, because I hadn't even known about applying for the DL Correspondent job then. It was December 21, 2008. These were all the photos I had taken - just because! WHo would have known it would make a great blog.

Thanks goes to my husband for asking me to look up the special so we could tape it. That reminded me that I had all that stuff!!!

Would you believe part of my audition tape included a discussion of this!
