My favorite story from Disneyland's opening day came from Roy O Disney's biography. Being the worrysome money man of the Disney brothers, Roy was worried that no one would show up to Disneyland on opening day. The story goes something like he was waiting in his Cadillac in the parking lot watching the people come in when a Disney cast member came up to him and advised him that there were so many people that some kids were urinating in the bushes. His response as he was so releived that people were showing up - "God bless em ... let 'em pee."
