If penalties are awarded, 25% go to the employees and the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency receives the rest.

Sounds like they're worse than lawyers.

I don't even understand that law. You don't see seats provided for grocery store checkers while they're working (though while I worked at one, a pregnant checker was provided with a seat). Only on breaks, they have seats in the break room. Doesn't Disneyland have break rooms?
