'80s rock is fine, as is modern. But I for one would be very disappointed if they didn't play the '60s classic "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. It's made for this event.

I sure hope it's still there when we go in late October!

This is an amazing new street party and I recommend it to everyone. The sights and sounds are just wonderful and even if you do a casual walk-through you will love the costumes and the very strange performances.

One note: The sound levels are a bit loud for us older folks and especially for the younger kids. Families should use judgment with their sensitive children's ears.

That's too funny, Mary Jo! With the exception of the first night when we were over by the arcade I have been in the exact same spot every night, with my camera.

I will be so bummed to start missing out when it goes nightly on Friday.
