Very well (minimally) written. I will definitely miss the dance parties and playing in the arcade. I hope they bring back Flynn's arcade one day or put it in a permanent location (replace Starcade maybe?)

hopefully they will bring Electronica back when the Tron sequel comes out in 2014. With the new cartoon coming out you think they would have extended it out a bit. We went the day before it shut down and it was CROWDED more so then ever, and people were cheering more than normal. I'm sad as I really liked it, it just seemed to fit perfectly there

I've seen the concept art for the new dance party and I'm not impressed for Alice in Wonderland

I, too, will miss everything. I have been wondering about Flynn's Arcade since I heard they were going to close it and move to the Mad T Party. I have seen on MousePlanet that the 2nd floor of the Starcade is supposed to reopen in 2014 (I know, take everything with a grain of salt ). I wonder if they will move the games there because those were some awesome games. DB, I, and many of our friends grew up playing those old games (Star Wars, Space Paranoids, Frogger) and loved being able to have that chance again. From a financial standpoint, I think it was a money maker for Disney as it was always jam-packed in Flynn's and they really haven't done anything with the upstairs of Starcade since they originally closed it in the 90s (?). Well we'll see what happens in a couple of years.

There are some rumors that Flynn's Arcade may stay around for the Mad T Party. It will likely be re-themed, but some of the early construction seems to indicate that the arcade may fit in. We'll have to watch the construction and announcements.

Somehow I don't think we have seen the last of TRON. Remember that Disney had a time period in mind for the run of ElecTRONica and extended it twice! And right up to the last day the 3D "preview" of TRON: Legacy continued to be attended. I think this was another sleepy hit for the DLR and I agree that when the TRON sequel comes out we'll see another reboot.
