Don’t overlook Disneyland’s Paradise Pier Hotel
Posted on Friday, 7th September 2012 by Tom Bell

Back in March of last year, I spent one night at the Paradise Pier Hotel. It was the night before a 7-day cruise on the Disney Wonder and I don’t remember much about it. If you pressed me, I would have probably said it was like staying at the Hilton or Marriott.

Either I was TOTALLY wrong or they’ve done some major redecorating in these rooms…I think both are probably the case. Bottom line….this is definitely a DISNEY hotel. Read on for more about my stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel or listen to my review on a recent episode of the DIS Unplugged: Disneyland Edition.

Thanks for posting! Whenever we stay on-property, we always stay at PPH. We actually enjoy it more than the DLH and find the walk to the parks a lot more tolerable from the PPH through GCH rather than from DLH through DTD - that walk just seems to go on forever. :) Of course all the perks that come with staying on-property are great too.

We always recommend PPH to anyone who wants to stay on-prop. I think its a great way to go.

We have stayed at all 3 Disney Hotels and like all 3 off them for different reasons. I got a great deal to stay at PPH in October and happily booked it.

We stayed at PPH a few years back. We really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean. The cast members were excellent. We had a great time at PCH Grill. I would stay there again. We will be staying at GC as a surprise for DW in November. I'm sure it will be great too.

I don’t remember much about it. If you pressed me, I would have probably said it was like staying at the Hilton or Marriott.

We stayed at the PPH in Feb. I'd agree with this assessment, except that it's probably a small notch below Hilton or Marriott. Didn't think it worth the money at all.
