New BC Store ?

Hi, I read that the new store in the BC has cafe area that serves pastries(possilbly sandwiches??) and a soda fountain area for refillable mugs. Does anyone know if they have any specialty coffees??? We will be at the BCV April17-25th and I would love to be able to walk over in the early am and get a nice expresso or cappuccino! Any info is APPRECIATED!! Joan ( I cannot wait to see The Flower and Garden Show!!)

I only know of Beaches and Cream, and thats been there since the resort opened i believe.

No, I read on one of the boards that they put a small cafe in the store that was redone (Atlantic Beachwear?) And you could fill up your own mug here! They also had sandwiches and pastries. That was why I was wondering if they had a ny SPECIALTY coffees??? ANYONE tried it yet? Joan

Atlantic Wear did recently reopen with a new cafe/ grab 'n go section. There has been talk about it on the DVC boards. Soups, sandwiches and gelato have been reported. Apparently, you can have a sandwich made or grab a packaged one. And there is a place to refill mugs according to posters.

Sorry, I haven't read about specialty coffees. It just reopened at the end of March so not too many reports yet.

Thanks AGAIN BCV23!! I went on the DVC board to post a ? and read the "Just Back from BCV" it was so kind of you to ask my "specialty coffee" ? and I got my answer! Now You know where I will be each am for a nice cup of coffee! Joan

I see you received your answer and I just wanted to verify that yes, they have specialty coffee's there. They also put in a few tables just outside the doors on the walkway to the BCV's. Many people having breakfast or a snack during the day. The gelato (hazelnut chocolate) was great and the salads and sandwiches looked very tempting. Mug refill was very convenient. We stay at BCV's a few times a year and this was a great addition the the resort. Have a great time!

Thank You Tinkbellfan for a more expansive answer to my ??! I am really looking forward to our TRIP! We leave on Thursday and will spend a few nights at the WL and then transfer to the BCV for a 8 nite stay. I cannot wait to try the new cafe area! And I too am always behind on my points! Joan

The BC store is farther than B&C for you. It is on the other side of the BC lobby.

However, at B&C you have to wait for help from the CMs. In addition, it is not open in the am these days. CMs will also fill mugs at Hurricane Hannah's at SAB whan it is open.

Debbie, thanks for more info on the store. My daughter is going to love the hazelnut chocolate gelato.

Joan, have a wonderful trip. It sounds like such a nice, long one. Can we expect more details on the store when you return? Enjoy your morning coffee.

When we were there Feb 25 to March 4th it was closed and I was talking to CM about it.

I was very dispointed it was closed because the temp set up was very lame and very small.

However the CM were very excited about the new store, and I must admit it sounded great.

We are not staying there this next trip, but it is our favorite resort, so we will be back!

oh and FYI, the coffe my husband brought back in the refilable mug was terrible. I couldn't drink it. I found a good cup at the little cart between England and Candana at Epcot.

So good to hear about it at BC store.

Thank You BCV23 for the good wishes! I really need a LONG vacation (I have been under a lot of STRESS with family things)And we almost had to cancel but decided at the last minute to just go ahead! So I am REALLY hoping to find "THE MAGIC"" (as I always do) at WDW! And a good cup of coffe to start the day is what helps ME! I will try to post some more details on the "NEW "store when we return. This will also be the first time in a few years that we will be seeing the FLOWER and GaARDEN SHOW, and I am an AVID gardener so I am really looking forward to that! Joan
