WOW..I was just on abc.com and read about the new season's show. A little twist this time around...TWO Bachelor's! And the girls in the 1st episode give roses to the one they want to stay!
Kind of Different!

I know its very early, but I think Jay is more attractive and Byron is more interesting.

He is talking alot about the future. It seems like he really believes he will find his wife.

Andrea (?) is th obsessed one.
And what is with all those girls crying when they didn't get a rose? I don't remember that many tears at any other first rose ceremony.
I did feel bad for the lady with the glasses. I know it is sterotypical, but didn't you just know she wasn't going to get picked?

Does anyone else think that the one girl looks like Estella?

From the previews the season looks really intense. I think he seems like a sincere guy. I liked him better than Jay.

I can't help loving this show!

There is something about watching 25 desperate attractive women demeaning themselves by fighting publicly over a man that makes me realize that the problems in my life could be much, much worse!

I was hoping that Jay would have been chosen as well! I was not happy that Krysta got a rose...

Not meaning to be too catty here, but...I'm so tired of looking at women like this on television. Half these women all looked the same to me, and while I guess they are "beautiful" in a Hollywood or television way...I just didn't think they were attractive or all that interesting. Maybe it was because they all met the men in thier swimming suits...the evening wears seems a more suitable way to start things off, IMO.

Anyway, I'm sure at some point I'll get sucked into this show as I have past seasons with one twist or another.

Does anyone else think that the one girl looks like Estella?

I know exactly who you mean and ITA!!!!! It was kinda freaky and I couldn't stand Estella - but it looks in the previews that she might go a long way!

I loved Jay - he seemed so much more stable!!! I think Byron was kinda greasy looking - actually he reminded me of Bob - hmmmm!

I saw them on Regis and Kelli yesterday and automatically liked Jay but after watching the show last night I just KNEW Byron would win. Jay seemed a bit uncomfortable with the women and a bit stiff. He would still be MY choice but I think Byron will make a more interesting season.

The drama seems orchestrated as usual, the girl with the open heart and Krysta specifically. No doubt they will be kept for the "interest"...notice how Andrea was picked LAST????

I liked Jay, he is definately more my type, and was disappointed but not surprised that Byron was picked.

As far as the girls, the one who didn't like the girl with the dog was the one I predict to be the "Trish" of this season. Of course, since I have the inability to program my VCR, I missed the last half of the show and only saw up to the point where Byron was named the new bachelor. I'm not even sure which girls got a rose.

The previews for the next episode look drama filled! How can these supposedly intelligent woman all fall head over heels in just a few hours??? And, then proclaim it on national television??? Good grief. I agree, though, that Byron is probably the more interesting one for the show. He does look greasy, doesn't he? I haven't really had enough time to develop too many likes or dislikes about the girls. I do like Wendy, though. She's cute and kind of a spitfire. Krista is just scary. But I can see why he'd like her. She comes across as very confident and self-assured. I'm sure she'll stick around for a while, as she's going to end up the "bad girl". There's always got to be at least one. Sure will be interesting to see how it all works out with him living right in the house with all the drama queens, too.

I think it's going to be interesting to have Byron living with the girls this time. It's going to be tough for them to be "on" all the time.

I really think that the producers reserve one choice for themselves so that they can keep the troublemaker around for ratings. Why else would he give Krysta a rose? She certainly got more screen time than anyone else last night. I guess she will be this season's "Trish". It made me wonder if she is doing it deliberately though. Some of her comments about being high maintenance and hoping he had "family" money sounded like they came right from Trish.

I kind of like the dog groomer, and the one named Jayne. The one with the glasses was just downright strange. Did you see the part they showed of her during the ending credits? She pretty much told him she wanted to leave so she could have a comfortable bed, then told him to go talk to the other women.

What is the girl's name who had the dog? I couldn't remember who she was when he was passing out the roses? Did she get a rose? The dog was barking during the rose ceremony.
