I never had seen so many babies at the seal/sea lion area before. A new baby was born today and seems to be hanging out with Mom in that first covered area toward the building. It was about the size of a football and that's why I think it was a seal instead of a sea lion. It didn't move much and I wasn't wearing my glasses.
The worker today said there's now three babies: one born today, one born May 1, and one born April something. We saw one baby swimming with one adult sea lion and the adult was blind in both eyes - so sad. Of course that's the best place for her since you can only be a that confined area. I'm sure she wouldn't survive in the wild.
