Thanks to all the great advice on these boards, I now know to plan "treats" for the kids to be magically left for them by their Disney pals. The mornings and evenings will be fairly easy to accomplish, but I want the kids to get a "welcome" package (from the Big Mouse, himself, of course!) -- it will include their lanyards and 1 or 2 pins each, their autograph books and pens, and a GOH badge for each of them. I have a family member who works inside MK so getting these items in advance will not be a problem.
The problem is, what is the best way to get the packages to the kids as soon as possible after arrival? We will be arriving at PC right around 3:00p.m (with lots of other people, I assume), and then heading out almost immediately to MK for a quick peek before dinner at Chef Mickey's, so we won't have a lot of time to track down the package (if I mail it in advance) and get it delivered to the room.
My dream would be for a CM at the front desk to hand the packages to my DD (5 then) and DS (almost 4, then) and say, "Mickey Mouse and his friends would like to welcome you to Walt Disney World and invites you to dinner this evening" -- but I think that's a little too magical -- even for Disney!
Please help -- I know it's been done, I just need to know how!
