Thanks for this information. I just called and saved $40 at PB for 3rd week of May 2016. Interestingly, when I first called the resort 800 number, I was told that I would need to cancel and then rebook (and pay another deposit). Even when I (nicely) said I was surprised that I would need to cancel and rebook for the same room just at a lower rate, the reservationist (is that the right term) told me that I would need to do that. I thought it sounded funny so I called the You First Customer service (I stay at Loews hotels regularly) and asked if this was something new. That person told me that I was given wrong information and she transferred me back. This second person pulled up my ressie, hit "refresh" and I got the lower rate. She laughed and said "that was easy". So, long story to say - call back and you might be pleasantly surprised. More butter beer!!
