New AP rates soon???

I'm suspicious that the 40% passholder email this week (for select dates and says for Values) is slowing or superseding the AP rates for late Feb into March. And with all the new discounts flying around, historical info on release dates may be less accurate. Fingers corssed for more AP dates soon.

On October question above -- agree with PP that it may be helpful to read mousesavers historical information page. I've had AP discounts in October before, but they did not become available until late summer.

You got an email with the 40% pin code? I think you are onto something, as much as I do not want to believe it about AP rates!!! My trip begins two days after one of the offers expires. Hoping for a regular AP code!

Fingers crossed here. Hoping the AP rates go out real soon.

Wow. I been worried about the exact same thing. That would be terrible for us since I didn't get the code and even if I had the dates I have booked were not included!.

We got a 40% off code, but our dates aren't included either. :(

The rack rates for late March are just insane... even at the values... I called last night to check rates and there is no way I'm paying $150 + tax per night for Pop. Surely some AP rates will come out. I really want AKL. :sad1:

If you want to book for dates in march, should you book at rack rates and then request an adjustment to the AP rates... assuming that a better AP rate comes out.

Is there any problem doing that? I'm just getting a little nervous not booking for March yet while I wait for an AP rate.:sad2:

What to do????:confused3

I have booked the room before the AP rates came out for at least a dozen trips and then applied AP rates later. I was holding off this trip since CR is so expensive and lost out on the least expensive room category...(SGV) because while I was deciding it sold out.

Don't wait if you have your heart set on something.

AP rates are available for Value, Moderate and SSR or OKW through April 4.

My ressie at the CR was unable to be modified!

CM does not know if other rates will become available.

SO disappointed!!!!

The AP site still says through Feb 12 for me?? :confused3 Do you know the code? TIA

Just call and inquire about AP rates. No need for a code.

The WDW site never posts the new codes before they are released...I always find them on the DIS or Mousesavers first.

Hope you have better luck than I did.:goodvibes

You are right! The late March rates are insane. I considered changing my ressie to OKW but still would pay 342.00 a night! My CR ressie is 400.00. (Both rates include tax.)

I am not sure what to do now! I think the AP rates for that time are a done deal....

It is what it is.

Yikes! The discount only brought a 4 night stay at ASMO down from $589.55
to $574.04. She said weekends weren't included. That's just awful.

I booked 4 nights after our DVC stay to avoid the high airline prices on the weekend after President's week. I'm now thinking about cancelling and just coming home. That is way too much for a value IMHO.

This is my first year with an AP so I had this question as well. I went ahead and booked my room. I have been told that I should be able to apply the AP rate to it when the rates come out. I am anxiously anticipating what will happen. :)

The AP rates are now available on the AP website. Looks like 40% off which is really good. Of course folks need to remember that this is peak season (so some of the highest rates). I did a couple of check for dates and the discount is only for Sunday through Thursday. No discounts on weekends or Prez weekend to include Sunday. Values are $69 a night (a 44% savings) and other resorts are between 39%-41% off. This is an excellent deal. However, the dates go only to April 2, so a week before Easter weekend as it has for past years. I was looking for early May, so will most likely have to wait until sometime late Feb to see those rates. Just a word of warning. The last time I booked the website excluded the weekends, but I called and the weekends were included, so it is very well possible the online site is not completely accurate, so there is a glimmer of hope. I'm going over MLK weekend and did indeed get a great discount for that weekend. Good luck.

I save about 33% by my calculations. :thumbsup2 My reservation starts on a Friday and ends on a Wednesday so maybe the weekends do effect it some.
