New AP rates are out!!

Anyone having trouble using the AP site? It still has the June/July dates showing.

It's down on the bottom of the page - a tiny blurb about 'last chance for summer getaways' or something like that.

When I looked at the AP site this morning they hadn't put the new codes in yet. The site still only goes through 8/2. For the new dates you will have to call. Good luck!

Just called. The AAA rate that I have is better than the AP rate on a suite at ASMu. And, no AP availability for my night at AKL. Maybe what I need to do is plan a return trip in Sept.

I saved twenty dollars a night for seven nights with the AP vs. AAA. I even added the DDP to the trip. I went from FQ to Riverside which wasn't my first choice but close enough for my DW. I was wanting then WL but nothing doing. Did anybody see if they had anything for WL and how much. Thanks.

I've got a preferred room at the Pop from August 20-25 already booked with a CAA discount, and surprisingly it is $1.00 a night CHEAPER than the AP rate! I've called twice to confirm this and both agents were surprised as well!

I have the Pop with a AAA rate for the beginning of Aug . . . the rate is $1.60higher than the AP rate. But . . . no values available for my dates on the AP rate. Not that I'm complaining.

I did mine online this morning about 9am Central -- I wanted to play around with dates and resorts so preferred doing it that way.

We are going August 10-22 -- part of the time will be dealt with daughter rehiring at Disney and getting settled into school there, first week friends are going but of course since they rarely go they got a postcard code months ago and got the WL concierge for a really great price.

Nothing at all left there - and that is fine - we are going so often now cheap is ok with me - I really much prefer Movies but could only get it for the last 8-9 days so I went with Sports for the first week and Movies for the second week. I figure we will switch over the day our friends leave so we won't have to switch resorts some day when we would rather be out with them. First week is a standard room for 64.00, second week is preffered for 76.00.

Finally! These rates will only save us a few dollars over our existing reservation as well...however, using the AP rate will allow us to get the DDP without an additional ticket purchase (which is what I was waiting for!).

I messed with it for about 10 minutes. I was able to get the Poly to come up, but the room there would be more expensive than the rack rate room I have at WL! Not trying to make the trip more expensive so I won't be booking to Poly this time around.

I'm not sure I understand the AP discounts but I think it's like this:

I have our trip reserved at OKW for 8nights starting Nov 20th.

Annual Pass discounts for November will be released at some future date. The discounts will only apply to certain resorts.

If they offer one for OKW and the discount is deep enough, I might want to buy an annual pass and receive the discounted rate.

If they offer one for a different hotel that I'm willing to switch to, I might want to switch hotels at the AP rate.

Suppose a rate is offered for a different hotel but it's a big enough savings to make me want to buy an AP and switch reservations to that hotel. How do I do that? Can a CM sell me an AP and switch me to the discounted resort at the same time?

We were paying $553.50 for 3 nights at Coronado Springs and now we are paying $384.75

Did you try to add some date to the beginning or end of your trip? Sometime is will only let you book for certain dates. After you book that you can call and modify your ressie and drop the dates you don't need. This happen to me last wk but I guess it didn't matter since I changed resorts today anyways.
What are your dates. It seems like people who are going the first wk in August are having the hardest time getting the rooms we want.HTH

I just saved $118 by switching from All Star Movies (where no standard room AP rate was available) to Pop. The cast member I spoke to said only Pop and All Star Music was still available in the standard room AP rate. It's fine by me. This is a super budget trip for me and my two year old so every penny counts! We'll make up for it when we go all out for our family vacation in October.

We are booked at AS Movies for that time with AP dining at rack rate. Can we purchase AP dining if this discount were to apply to the room on our dates? Or does having a discounted room code for passholders prevent the purchase of AP dining? Thanks so much.

I called this morning and all they had at wl was a courtyard view w/ bunk beds for my stay 8-15 to 8-27 with an ap rate of about 252 per night ($53 less than rr), no standard rooms at ap rate at all

On the WDW site, they have it listed as 8/9 for the value resorts and 8/3 for the others.

What's this? I didn't know that! I thought the Johnson's couldn't book a room with the Jones' pin code? So how does that work then?

Reason I asked is my Mom (same town, different address) just got the Dalmatian pin code card. Can I use it if I book her in my room? She may or may not go (bad health). What if she cancels? Do I lose the pin rate and pay rack at check in? Does she need to be there? What if I have her pin code card with me?

Help - I think I am on room rate crack!
