Just got back from our April trip, and we bought AP's becasue we are going again in February '09:banana:
My question is about the AP rates.. typically, how much of a discount do you get off a room? I ask because we are going 2/13/09-2/23/09, and staying on our DVC points from 2/15 on.. I will need to pay cash for Fri.2/13 & Sat.2/14 .. DVC gets me a 25% off discount, if available.. so, Im wondering what would be a better discount? dvc or AP? also, can AP discounts be used on a 2 bdrm villa?
Thanks!

The AP discounts are usually a flat rate off each night, not a %. The dollar amounts vary by what season you are in, but so far the 2008 AP discounts have NOT been very generous. I would think the 25% DVC discount would probably beat the AP rate. Not sure on the 2 bdrm.

Obviously, I don't KNOW this for sure (because I'm not the powers that be at WDW), but your dates are President's Day weekend, and there might not be either AP or DVC discounts available.

Thanks for your replies! I guess I'll keep checking member services for cash rooms! (dvc)

yes, you're right, Presidents Day is the 16th, but Feb. 1 - 15th is Dream Season(dvc), so I guess considered a little slower, so thats why I was hoping to get something on the 13th & 14th... the 16th starts Magic season.
Thanks again!
