Hi everyone! I'm new to the boards. I'm taking a trip to WDW in September with my friend, our husbands, and our four children, who range in age from 3 to 12. I wondered if there were any "have to do" things that we could plan ahead for. I would welcome any suggestions!

The only have to do thing is to have FUN! :goodvibes How you do that will depend upon what you and your children enjoy.

Since we had number 3, my mom has come with us to WDW so that we have a 1:1 adult to child ratio. This has been helpful because there were days when we went in three different directions - DS with DW to AKL, DD9 back to MK after a pool break at the hotel and DD6 stay at the pool hand out and get her hair braided.

With the kids this young, we spent a considerable amount of time in MK in Fantasyland and Toontown. Our DDs are starting to get more interested in Epcot as our last trip. If you want to plan, I'd say take out the maps, and let each person pick one must see. If each person only picks one, you can keep expectations at a reasonable level and everyone can participate. Make sure you hit those picks and have fun doing everything else.

So much for my $.02... pixiedust:

Go to your local Home Depot & swipe as many of the Alien Green mickey headed paint chips as you can! :thumbsup2

Then go to the Secret Green Club and start at page one which directs you to the link that shows you what to do with them!

Hope you all have a magical trip! pixiedust:

Welcome to the DIS.

Our family is about the same and this is our third trip since DS turned 3.

The only "must do" we believe in is to take a break after lunch. Go back to the room, swim, nap, watch T.V. and return to the parks of late afternoon.

Our DS1 who is now 9 talks about swimming at the resort as much as doing the parks when he was 6

Have a great trip and plan to your little hearts content.
