Hey gang!!!
I am brand new to the forum and am trying to find my way about.
I joined b/c we have planned a last minute trip to WDW leaving on Monday.
This is only our second time to go and I need any advice or suggestions.

Hi and welcome to the DIS!:welcome:

Do you have dining reservations? You will need them unless you plan on cooking or eating only fast food while you are there.

Be prepared for large crowds, it's a prime Spring Break week. Arrive at the parks when they open and use FastPass wisely. If you don't have a plan, make one now! Otherwise you will be spending twice as much time standing in line (for attractions and food) as you will enjoying yourself.

Look over on the Theme Parks board for more tips. Have a great time!

Welcome!!!

As the last post said, if you want to eat a table service meal, you'll need to scramble for a reservation. If you do want a reservation, make a list of all the places you want to try and just go down the list until you get one. Beware though: you may be offered some very late dinner times.:sad2:

If you'd rather just do counter service, there are plenty of options to choose from so don't worry. Do a search here for "favorite counter service" and you'll find good ideas. My favorites are Columbia Harbor House (MK), Pizzafari (AK) and Sunshine Seasons (Epcot):thumbsup2 .

Spring break is crowded. Get to the parks very early. It really does help. You'll get to do a few of your favorite attractions before the lines get crazy. Use fastpass for the rest but get those early too. Also, if you can get a dinner with your girl's favorite characters it may save you from waiting in those long character greeting lines.

I hope you have a great trip :goodvibes

If the girls have any princess costumes left from Halloween, bring them along (and don't worry about wrinkles.) My 5 year old daughter wore hers one night to the MK(after wearing it to the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare) and she was in heaven... she just felt like royalty!!

Dumbo is alway incredibly crowded. A different version of the same thing (and featuring my daughter's favorite princess!) was Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride. Head there instead.

If you get the chance, pick up some autograph books (even a small sprial notebook with some Disney stickers-- there are no rules here!) My kids got a real kick out of getting character autographs!! Bring along a click Sharpie; they're easier for the characters who wear gloves.

Enjo!!!

Get there early. We always try to get there 20 minutes before opening. Not only does it help with lines but getting there a little early builds up the excitement for the day. I like to take alot of pictures before opening. Even though it is early the kids are ready to go.

Like others said go early I can't even begin to tell you what a difference it makes when it's crowded. We always go for 9 or 10 days so we have time to leave during the afternoon when it's the most crowded and then go back in the early evening when it starts to be a little less crowded. The autograph book is a good idea. The most important thing to do is go to the busy rides first think and get fast passes

I just wanted to say welcome to DISboards and may you have a great time, have fun and enjoy your trip. Looking forward in hearing more from you after you came back.

Have a nice and safe trip. :)

This post may be a bit last minute as well. Considering its Monday. But I'm not sure what we can help you with unless you elaborate a bit on what you need help with. Just make sure you have reservations for wherever you want to eat at, etc. Since places can get pretty busy. If your staying for a while, remember to have a rest day in between.
