New American Girl dolls

I love American Girl dolls and sharing the experience with my eight year old daughter. We love the historical dolls and reading the stories together. My daughter is saving money to buy both Marie-Grace and Cecile. I am disappointed in the higher priced items in the new collection. Has anyone else noticed the four doll outfits do not come with shoes and the dog Argos is $28. I don't think any of the small pets have been that much. I still love the dolls. I guess we will not be getting many accessories. Thanks for listening.

I didn't notice the missing shoes, that's kinda odd. My DD and I love the new dolls too! We are adding them to her wish list! We take her every year to NYC for her b-day to get a new doll and this year she already has decided on Kanani. For Christmas both my MIL and I get her dolls but she already has said she wants Molly to go with her Emily so maybe I'll get her one of the new dolls!

We take DD too every year to AGPlace in NYC to get a doll, she has 7 and I am thinking maybe we should "cool it" on the dolls and focus on accessories and things...but then they had to go and introduce the 2 new dolls (oy!) LoL. They are both VERY cute! Any news on who the new GoTY will be?

I read they are making a movie with Nia Vardalos(my big fat greek wedding) and Jade Pettyjohn for 2012. The story is about a girl name "Velma" being a gymnast. With the summer olympics, i think this will be a hit for American Girl fans.
