New All Disney Travel Channel?

Hi All,

I'm new to the DIS so forgive me if this was already discussed. I just heard the other day that Comcast will now have a Disney Travel Channel On-Demand. Can anyone confirm this? If so, when will it premier? I've been checking everyday and can't find anything about it. Thanks!!

I hadn't heard this but it would be pretty cool.
Comcast owes us something after the Handy Manny fiasco a few weeks ago!

This sounds cool, but I hadn't heard about it. We have never used the on-demand service-I figure we already pay $150 a month for cable and we don't even get HBO and all the other premium channels!

Really? Duh, now don't I feel stupid! I always assumed it was yet another thing they would make you pay for so I never looked into it. Thought it was like Pay-per-View. Thanks for the info, that is good to know.

Does anyone who has Time Warner know anything about this? The article says it should launch today on Time Warner, but I have not seen anything from them.

Don't feel that way! I think lots of people are afraid to use it b/c they think there is a charge. It will tell you on the screen if there is a charge or not before you "commit" to watching the program you chose.

I just spoke with someone from Time Warner. They told me that Disney Travel on demand would be on 1107. However, I checked, and THERE IS NO 1107!!! When I put in 1107 it takes me to 1110!!!! Guess I have to call back.

We have Comcast! I hope they offer it soon! We always watch anything Disney related on the Travel Channel, even though most of it is at least 3 year sol...stil gives you your Disney Fix.

I just went out and checked my Time Warner. Here is Ohio, it is listed under JourneyTV on Demand *FREE* .
