New ADR Policy - Question

I havent had to make ADR's since they changed the policy. On the WDW Today podcast they were saying that the new ADR policy is 90+10 so if you are staying on property you can call at 100 days out. Is that right? They stated it more that once, in more than one way.. before it was always 180+10 meaning you called on 180 and you could make up to 10 days worth of reservations.

Did I miss something?

Thanks

No, you can't call at 100 days out. It means that you can call at your 90 day mark, and are allowed to make reservations for up to 10 days of your trip at that time. Same at 180 was. You called at 180 days and could make up to 10 days of reservations at that time. Hope this helped.

Ditto-
Call at 90 days and make up to 10 days of ADRs.
As fun as they are to listen to, WDW Today doesn't always have their facts straight. :rolleyes1

Thanks guys.. I didn't thing they had changed the +ten way things worked..

Since they said it a few times, I am sure they will really confuse people.

I totally agree! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Drives me nuts!

I am friends with one of the WDW Today podcasters, and I constantly chew them out for giving out bad info. My friend says that I'm not the only one giving them a hard time. I said, "Good."

I always tell him, "I'm screaming at my iPod, 'Noooooo!' whenever I hear them giving bad info." At least Annette, being a travel agent, has always given the correct info. They really need to resist answering questions when she's not on as a guest.

O.K. got it!
DH and I had a disagreement about this today, when we were sitting with one of the car dealers.
This came up because he is going with his family to WDW in Sept./09.
Needless to say he was mindboggled by the amount of infomation John and I were giving him. I told him to just have his wife call me right away, and we would give her lots of links and details for planning their trip.
He looked at us and said I was meant to meet you two. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
We even offered to do a ridemax program for them. :lmao::lmao:

when ever someone at work (Old Navy) tells me they are going to WDW I always walk up to the register tear off some receipt paper and write down wdw.info.com I always tell them that this is the site to go to, to find anything you need about WDW;)

No disrespect intended, but if you are just going to guess at an answer to a question on a podcast, please don't! Research is so easy with the internet these days....

If I heard this and then got up at 7am on day 100 to make my ressies, I would be mighty argumentative with a CM telling me I was in the wrong....:lmao:

ITA! I do enjoy listening to them, but I swear I can give better answers off the top of my head sometimes when they are immersed in this as their profession! I don't think I've ever heard them issue corrections on the next show either. I shudder to think of how many people they have sent down the wrong path!

I do  the DIS Unplugged best!

I did tell my friend that I hoped they would do some housekeeping to correct the misinformation, or people would have a rude awakening when trying to make ADRs.

To be fair, most of the time they are spot on with their recommendations.

This is why I only listen to the Dis Unplugged. :)

Nikki, there are tons of podcasts out there that cover so many different things! I listen to 14 shows because each one brings something new to the table. There were a couple podcasts I had to take out of my rotation. One of them, the cohost got on my last nerve. The other because the three guys were getting out of family friendly territory and then started getting political.

Agreed, as per my answer to the first person I quoted. :)
