Don't know if this should be under here or miscellaneous. Moderators please move if necessary.
I'm just looking for opinions on the member only ABD trip to San Francisco/Napa Valley.
We were looking at ABD Europe trips in general and then this came up. I want to see San Francisco, and just about in the same way this trip is....highlights being the Disney family museum and the redwoods. Plus being the Napa vineyard. I called and priced it...cash and or points. It's only 3 full days, the 4th day being breakfast and done. The first day staring with an early breakfast, thereby making it necessary to come in day before. I found out that if we make the pre trip arrival for a stay at the hotel of the tour, the Fairmont, then ABD will pick up from airport, but it's also a $450 night for the room.
I guess I'm wondering if general opinion is that it's worth the 210 points per person or $2100 pp for a 3 night trip? I'm probably more in my comfort zone with ABD (especially so if I go alone) as DH is less of a traveller than I.
Any opinions are appreciated.
