So we go 5/5-5/12 so i call today because i am 90 days out from check in and want to do my ADR's. So give all my info, where staying etc etc and she tells me that i can do a reservation for 5/5 so I give it to her and expect to be able to continue on w/ my list...NOPE.... she tells me you have to be 90 days out from EACH DAY you book....so she explains that do do the ADR's for the remaining days 5/6 - 5/12... I need to call tomorrow to book my 5/6 one's, friday to book for 5/7 etc.... HOW NUTS ! So no more being able to do "one call does it all" ?? I guess I did not read enough on here about the new 90 day rule...but I assumed it just meant u can't make your adr's for your entire stay until 90 days before check-in date.

So i need to call everyday now until next wed to get it all done and we all know how long you are on hold for every call and no toll free.......and they never have the times you really want so you have to reort to plans B, C AND D lol ugh now wishing I had stayed concierge again....

thanks for letting me vent

If you're staying on site you should have been able to book anything from then for 10 days, off site you have to call daily

If you are staying at a Disney resort, you should be able to make ADRs for up to 10 days after your arrival.

I don't think that's true. I would call back and get someone else. We made our reservations 90 days out for the entire week for May (90 plus up to 10 more days). You do have to be staying on site though, and you have to give them a reservation number (the phone number only doesn't seem to cut it anymore).

I had not heard that change since moving to the 90 day mark. Maybe someone else here can help if they have, but to be sure, I'd call again and ask another cast member. Lots of times you get a new person who doen't know any better. If you call back you will undoubtly get someone else and can hopefully get a better answer. Good Luck, that change will stink if it is a new change...

You should only have to call each day if you are staying off-site.

Ummmm I think you should call back and hope for a different agent. As long as you are staying at a Disney resort you should be able to book the first 10 days of your stay. People have been doing this since the 90 days started. Now, there have been problems with some specific restaurants, but not as a whole.

Definitely call back. I made my April adrs 90 days out & had no problem making all of them at once. Good luck.

If you're staying on site, call back with a different CM. I booked last Saturday at my 90 day window & was able to book the entire trip's dining reservations at one time. It's only if you're off site that you can't do the 90 + 10.

well gives me hope...so maybe i just got someone who it was their 1st day on the job lol i am onsite and they have my ressie numbers etc... which she knew. I will call back tomorrow and hope for better luck. thanks all !

I didn't know about the 90 day rule until last week when I wanted to make dinner reservations for May 9-16. They told me to call back on Feb 8 to book all the days. I hope that is right because I will be on the phone Feb 8 at 9 AM to book the whole trip.

Would the 90 days + 10 rule work if you booked through a 3rd party? We're staying onsite, but apparently I don't have a Disney confirmation number.

This morning (Wednesday 2/4/2009) was my 90-day mark as well, and I did not encounter any difficulties. I made my ADRs for the entire week-long trip. I am staying on-property, however. I just called two hours ago to make some tweaks, and again had no problem.

Whenever I am told something which I do not believe to be true, I politely tell the person what I believe is true, and if that doesn't work, then I just politely hang up and call back 1 minute later, to speak with a different agent.

Did you do DVC? Or a TA?
My TA is going to do all my ADRs for me.
:thumbsup2

My sis got a room with LMT's $1 promotion for Dec. I don't think these reservations show up in Disney's system so I'm scared with it being such a busy time that things might book up.

It should be listed on any papers that your travel agent has given you. It'll say something like "reservation number" on it. I have booked trips via a travel agent and always got one, and have booked trips myself, too. But you are correct -- to book past the 90 day mark, you will need a Disney reservation number so that they can confirm you are indeed staying on site, and the dates you are staying.

If you don't have this number, call your third-party person and get it. Shouldn't be a problem. :) Have fun!
