New 50th Anniversary Castle?

I am leaving for Disney next week and was wondering if Cinderella's Castle is now the 50th Anniversary Castle, or still normal. When does the actual 50th Anniversary Celebration start? Are any of the rides open yet?

The Castle re-do is complete. The actual celebration starts May 5th but I believe Cinderellabration started last month, Lights, Motors, Action is in the "soft opening" stage and today is the Passholders' preview for Soarin'. HTH

From what I have read on here, it has been doing "soft openings" so you should be able to ride it. I also read on here that they are anticipating wait times of 2-3 hours

Someone who has purchased an annual pass to WDW. We have them because our stays are usually greater than 8 days and we go every year so it's a little cheaper than buying hoppers every year. Sometimes there are great discounts at Disney resorts-like last year we got rooms at Pop for $59/night in June
