Neverland 5k and Twilight tix question

Hi! First, I'm sorry if this question has been posted already. I did a search and couldn't find anything, but that doesn't always mean it wasn't there. Anyway, I just did the Star Tours 5k this morning, and my husband decided he wanted to do the neverland 5k in January with me, so I came home to sign us up before he changed his mind, and saw that registration is $99 because it includes twilight tickets to the park. However, we have annual passes and I really don't want to pay for two park tickets that will be useless to us. Does anyone know if there's a way to just register for the race without the tickets? Thanks!

On another board someone posted that they emailed runDisney and were told that you can not register WITHOUT purchasing the twilight ticket. I'm not a huge fan of this concept...
