My son has asked us along for a trip March 11-18, 2017. They will have a 9 month old and a 3 year old. I have never been in March because of the potential for heat and the crowds, so can any one tell me what to expect for crowds? I know it's peak season and everything I read says heavy crowds because of spring break, but I'm just not sure what that means during a peak time. What is a typical wait time? 60 min, 90, min, 120 min, especially at MK?? Is there much under 60 minutes? He's down there taking his medical boards so the dates can't change. Not looking forward to long lines with the little ones. We will look at crowd calendars and take advantage of kid swap, but I just need to prepare myself for this.

We go every March, usually from about March 3 or 4 to March 14 to 17. We love it. The weather is always great...sunny and warm but never too hot. We are not big park people anymore and usually only hit the parks one day but I haven't found the crowds to be a factor more than any other time. Easter is late next year, April 16, so spring break times will probsbly be spread out a bit more than usual, maybe from the last two weeks in March up to Easter. But since it varies across the country, it's hard to predict. The other reason we like to go in March is because of spring training. The Braves play at ESPN park and there is a team in Kissimmi plus lots of teams closer to Tampa. We usually go to two or three games while we are there. With grandkids that age, you probsbly wouldn't do the parks every day anyway. It's perfect time for the pool and some relaxing time just hanging out. Not sure where you are staying but OKW has a wonderful pool and sandy beach playground area for the little ones, movies st night, and large rooms. Plus it's an easy boat ride to Disney springs

We have done it twice now, last year and this year, on pretty much those dates. It's during our Spring Break. It's crowded. I couldn't tell you wait times, because we usually get there at rope drop and use touringplans.com, FP+, and morning EMH. Their site may actually show what the wait times were this year. It also depends upon the ride. We did skip Splash Mountain due to the wait; it must have been over an hour in the afternoon. The weather is nice, and the Flower & Garden Festival is going on at Epcot. I know some of our days ended up being 9 maybe even 10, according to Touring Plans. It was close to park capacity though. I didn't really think it was a 9 or 10, but I think I have a skewed sense about what's crowded:confused3

First time in March this year, 3/17-3/25. It was crowded in MK in the afternoon, but as PP said, use FP+, go early. Weather was fantastic when it didn't rain all day, but oh well. Loved Epcot and FG, only one day (maybe 3/19?) when it seemed too crowded. Use your FP+ and plan out your time, and you will be fine, IMO.

We've been going in March the past few years- love it. We plan our days- hit the parks around 9-10am, FP 12,1,2pm then back to the resort for swimming or naps, head out to parks again around 6pm.

The weather is kind of all over- it's been cold (low 50s) and hot (upper 90s). Usually it's cooler mornings and evenings and warmer days.

That week you're going is Spring Break for most of Texas.

Hi,,I'm from Southern Ontario Canada,,your travel date is our Spring Break
I have been going in the March break for the past 10 or more years.
We have found the average temps great---- 60-80.
Having a park plan and pre booking FP+ you want ahead of time is a good strategy.
Make a few sit down ADR's (Advance dining reservations).
All of the Parks have usually been busy after lunch except maybe Animal Kingdom--however with the new attractions coming there I think this will change.
I find little ones are up early so it might be an idea to hit the EMH morning and be finished by 12:30-1:00 in time for lunch and a swim back at the resort pool.
Make use of the Baby Care centres for diaper changes, feeding and just a quiet break with the wee ones.
Have fun planning
Hugs Mel

Make a name tag for your stroller or tie a colored bow on it as once it is parked in the "Stroller Parking Sea" it is hard to identify.

We use Josh's Park calendar to plan for March.

The week you you'd be going is the first week of spring break, and it's a busy one, but not Easter-weeks busy. It's quite manageable with a good touring plan, especially if you rope drop. The good thing about this time of year is that it's much easier to deal with the crowds in the (generally) weather at this time of year.

I would definitely prioritize rides in MK

We found Fantasyland to be the busiest during our last March 2016 trip.
example of our morning

During EMH we did:
7 dwarfs mine train
Peter Pan's Flight
Ariel (Journey Of the Little Mermaid)
Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh
Magic Tea Cups
Carrousel
Buzz Lightyear

We then too a break at Mickey Philarmagic,,(Nana needed a coffee break)
by this time the Park was starting to fill up.
We skipped Enchanted Tales With Belle.45 min wait

We moved to to
Dumbo
Barnstormer
people mover
Aladdin Magic Carpets
Haunted Mansion and POTC--For Nana

We went in March last year and found it busy, but not unmanageably so. Careful use of FP+ and late hours meant we got everything done we wanted to and had a magical trip! :) Lots of pixie dust.

We went during the 1st week of March this year. Epcot and AK wasn't bad all day. HS was busy in the mornings, but less so in the afternoon.

MK was pretty busy, about a 5 on the crowd calendars. You'll need to use Fast Passes.
