Never wanted to cruise.....

...until 3 days ago. Now I am dying to go on one and am feverishly gathering info. Will do 4 night Bahamas next year. I have option of CAT 4 or CAT 6 and CAT 11 for only $27 more. Am I crazy to choose the 4? We are a family of 5 -kids 14,13,8.

2. With the cat 6 and cat 11 you get TWO bathrooms. With the cat 4 you get ONE bathroom. With three kids, that can be a HUGE deciding factor.

Go for the 6 and 11. We did a 4 night in February, 3 kids (9, 7, and 5) in a Cat. 4. It was so cramped and the bathroom thing was a nightmare. We are doing a 7 night next February and go connecting Cat 9's for less that 1 Cat 4!!!

I would do the cat 6 and 11, giving you more room overall, but that's just my opinion.

I would do the 6 and 11 as well. For $27 it is definitely worth it.

Another recommendation for two rooms. Several people who have stayed in the Cat 4 have said that the layout of the room requires you to climb over the murphy bed to get to the verandah, which is inconvenient. And two bathrooms! And privacy for Mom and Dad occasionally!
